A UK market leader in hazardous and specialist waste is seeking a Technical Assessor to join their experienced team. Working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary group, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring waste is correctly assessed, routed, and handled in line with regulations—all while supporting a cleaner, greener future.
Use your chemistry qualifications, waste management knowledge, and problem-solving mindset to take on this rewarding challenge.
Duties include:

Reviewing waste enquiries and ensuring full compliance with WM3 and site-specific protocols.

Liaising with internal and external labs for sample analysis and waste acceptance.

Recommending disposal routes and ensuring alignment with permits and waste licenses.

Communicating effectively across sales, operations, and transport teams.

Resolving non-conformances and supporting smooth customer service and logistics coordination.
What you’ll need:

HNC in Chemistry or related field (essential)

Experience with hazardous waste (preferred)

Strong communication skills and attention to detail
